- Last entry dated May 16? I’m one sorry excuse for a blogger.
- Finished this one good project last May 30, and I’m pretty satisfied with what I produced. Since I’m in this lull time right now, my weekends are free and I can now return to my TV series and my books. Damn, books. My backlog can last me a lifetime.
- I’ve been planning an SG trip with J and some officemates – D,B, and J, those who have confirmed as of press time – to accomplish an epic task: meet up with A, who’ll be trying her luck there in a few weeks’ time. I envy her courage, A (who also recently celebrated her birthday), and her lovely inclination to say “To hell with stability, I’m going to look for a better place.” You’ll be sorely missed.
- J and our simple welcome to his 28th year: a not-so-humble Burgoo merienda, Momm’y spaghetti, Miggy’s spanking new learning books. Mine’s coming up in two months!
- I’m done with these people who are a monumental failure in getting over themselves.
- Planning to save up: A for effort, D for plausibility.
- I had a digiperm exactly a week ago. Simon Kim, contrary to comments I read online, was really gracious and professional. Magaan ang kamay. I didn’t get strong, A-for-awesome curls, but instead soft waves that obviously won’t hold for six months. Understandably so, because there’s always a first time. I received a number of raves, so yey to impulse ‘dos!
- Still stuck with The God of Small Things, but not exactly complaining. That part about the Orangelemondrink Man is still memorable, and I can’t wait to revisit Sophie Mol’s tragedy. Rereads: slowly but surely, a good development for a once-persevering reader like me.
- I plan to live.
- And onto the FIFA World Cup 2010 (timeliness and prominence, y’all): Thanks to F’s tip, here’s a picspam that instantly converted me into a HUGE football fan. And F, how dare you call me a mere “balls” fan and question my loyalty to this great piece of creation called sports (and buff, oily, naked torso)!!!
