Moon, star, and airplanes

There’s this beautiful moon and star formation tonight, and we went outside the house after dinner to bask in its beauty. Heard from Twitter that it’s Venus “eclipsing” the moon. It doesn’t look ominous to me; just some random visual delight that also brought many neighbors out in the streets. Shown above is J’s photo, where the moon looks like it’s trying to cradle a tiny speck of light. (This photo doesn’t do the view much justice; it’s pretty breathtaking in actual.)

Incidentally, my laptop was also playing “Airplanes,” an infectious piece from B.O.B. that talks about pretending that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars.  It features the voice of  Paramore’s Hayley Williams and accommodates Eminem’s rap in Part II. LSS, please leave me now like this weekend slowly does!

Before we say our vows..

Garnering around 3-M hits in a six-day span is this video “JK Wedding Entrance Dance,” set in a church in St. Paul, Minnesota and obviously an intimate gathering of family and friends. To echo the social media websites and other bloggers who shared it (and vouched for the magic of viral marketing), I wouldn’t dare spoil it for you.
